Groton students woke up this morning to the usual, cloudy Shanghai weather. Because the students were allowed a late start to adjust for jet-lag and to recover from the late activities from the previous night, most went into town to have coffee at a local bakery. After a hearty breakfast Groton students toured the Fudan University affiliated high school campus. Laura Li, a Fudan teacher, kindly showed the Groton Students around the high school’s two main buildings. After touring the campus the Groton Students went to the cafeteria to have lunch.  Following the lunch Groton Students attended the first two classes of the trip. The first was a TaiJi class where the students learned and practiced various TaiJi movements based on self-defense. This particularly captivated their interests. Afterward, the students  the students did calligraphy followed by dinner and some students used the free time to visit a roof garden in Shanghai.

Roan's Birthday was celebrated. Unfortunately, the pictures automatically default to landscape mode. Need to figure how to change that.
